| June 5th 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM | SmartBoard | Learn to use your Smart Board to enhance lessons and deliver quality instruction in 3 hours. See sample lessons from instructors already using their boards daily. Create and expand existing lesson plans to incorporate interactive tools. Leave with a folder of shortcuts, helpful hints and lesson ideas. There is a $25.00 charge for this class | K-12 Teachers | |
Summer-Daily July 14 - 25th 9:00AM - 4:00 PM | Summer Digital Media Festival | Explore all the teaching possibilities of using video, audio,
photography and presentations in the classroom. Learn to use Apple's
newest software including Leopard (Apple's newest Operating System)
iLife '08, and iWork '08 and take the computer with software pre-loaded
with you for $300. The cost includes a refurbished G5 Mac, monitor, keyboard, software
listed above, and the iLife '08 book with standards based lesson plans
The first week will be geared toward beginning level projects, followed
by a week of advanced projects. The computers are designated for
classroom use. CTAP will provide ongoing support for media projects

Media CART program gives students and teachers access to digital video
editing by offering standards-based projects, training, and the
equipment to make it happen. The program is ideal for teachers who
would like to use video to help their students create projects that
support standards in Language Arts, Social Studies and almost any other
academic area. Participants will be able to check out a camera and

For both level one and level two. At this introduction, you will receive a CTAP Online account, instructions for developing a portfolio, and course handouts.
