Proficiency 2.6 -- Overview of the Proficiency:
Design, adapt, or use lessons which promote the effective use of technology in teaching and learning
Describe an effective lesson using technology to meet content standards that you have implemented. Include all of the following, and appropriate artifacts from a single lesson/unit in portfolio, including student work samples:

Content to be taught.

Alignment with the state content standards.

Student learning styles.

Selection of relevant, effective software and hardware.

Technology resources and learning. environments available in the classroom, library, media centers, and computer labs, and other locations.

Assessment of student learning.
- Incorporate an Internet (Internet derived) online project/lesson into a core subject, or incorporate a primary source document from the Internet into a curricular.

Incluides fair use policies and permission for duplicating video resources for classroom use. The educator update is a downloadable pdf file.
Marco Polo: Internet Content for the Classroom - this comprehensive site combines the resources of many organizations and companies to provide extensive internet content for the classroom
Education World -- this site provides excellent lesson plan resources for K-12 teachers as well as articles on the latest research on what's happening in education.
SCORE Web Site -- this website has lesson plans for areas of Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science for grades K-12. This link is an excellent resource for those who are looking as to where to begin.
CA Framework and Lesson Plan Resources -- this link provides information supplied by the California Dept. of Education.
Teacher Tap -- the Teacher Tap is a free, professional development resource that helps educators address common technology integration questions by providing practical, online resources and activities.
