Proficiency 2.4 --Overview of the Proficiency:
Contribute to site-based planning or local decision -making regarding the use of technology and acquisition of technological resources.
Demonstrate the Following:
• Participate in planning sessions with teachers, administrators and/or parents that involve the use or acquisition of technology at your site.
• Be an active member of your site’s technology committee.
• Attend conferences and share information with site colleagues.

CUE -- Computer-Using Educators, Inc. is an organization that helps promote and develop instructional uses for technology. In California, there are two annual CUE conferences.
Connected Conferences -- Nationwide, educators can attend a connected conference sponsored by Classroom Connect. Interactive workshops and various other types of presentation are available to attendees.
